The Fifth Annual TEQSA Conference was held on Thursday 25 November 2021 in a virtual format.
The theme was Hard Lessons, Valuable Learnings, Heightened Expectations.

Entities that are not registered higher education providers
Australian law requires all higher education providers to be TEQSA registered.
Anyone who is not registered with TEQSA who advertises higher education is known as an unregistered entity.

Applications for accreditation of Undergraduate and Graduate Certificate courses (short courses)
On 20 January 2025, the Australian Government announced that Commonwealth, State and Territory government Education and Skills Ministers have agreed to make the Undergraduate Certificate a permanent qualification in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
