Report on accreditation of 2 higher education courses of study offered by the Australian School of Accounting Pty Ltd
On 22 December 2025, a delegate of TEQSA:
- accredited, under section 49 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the following courses offered by Australian School of Accounting Pty Ltd, for a period of 7 years until 21 December 2032:
- Master of Teaching Early Childhood.
- Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
- imposed, under section 53 of the TEQSA Act, 2 conditions on the accreditation of the Master of Teaching Early Childhood and Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education.
Condition 1: Professional Accreditation
Australian School of Accounting Pty Ltd must not market or enrol any students in the courses until they have been professionally accredited by The Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).
Condition 2: Academic Governance
Australian School of Accounting Pty Ltd must not market or deliver the courses until it has submitted evidence to TEQSA's satisfaction of having:
- appointed Academic Board member(s) with expertise and experience in early childhood education; and
- appointed suitability qualified academic staff with expertise and experience in early childhood education.
Main reasons for the decision
TEQSA made these decisions in light of risks that the courses submitted by the Australian School of Accounting Pty Ltd may not meet, or continue to meet, the following provisions of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021:
- Section 6.3.2 of Part A, in relation to providing effective academic governance and oversight to assure quality of teaching, learning and overall quality of the courses.
Application to withdraw conditions
In accordance with section 53 of the TEQSA Act, TEQSA may vary or revoke a condition imposed on the accreditation of a higher education course of study, either on its own initiative, or upon application by the provider for variation or revocation.
