    The maximum number of higher education overseas students that Lyons may provide a course to at Level 4, 303 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 does not exceed the following limits:

    1. the maximum number of overseas students is 1050, and
    2. the maximum number of higher education overseas students must not exceed 270 of the 1050.

    Main reasons for the decision

    TEQSA made this decision in light of the risk that the Lyons Education Group Pty Ltd may not comply, or continue to comply with, the following objectives of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018:

    • recruit responsibly by ensuring students are appropriately qualified and sufficiently informed for their chosen course (Standard 2)
    • ensure that its education agents act ethically, honestly and in the best interests of overseas students (Standard 4)
