    On 14 July 2026, TEQSA, under section 10B of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), varied condition 1 and imposed a further condition 2 on the ESOS registration of Australian Guild of Education Pty Ltd (AGE):

    Condition 1: Overseas student capacity (as varied)

    The maximum number of overseas higher education students that the Australian Guild of Education Pty Ltd may provide a course to, at its registered locations, may not exceed 170 at any time.

    Condition 2: Overseas student recruitment and admissions

    1. By 31 October 2027, Australian Guild of Education Pty Ltd (AGE) must engage a suitably qualified independent expert to undertake a review of its management of institutional capability to manage risk associated with the delivery to overseas students. The expert and terms of reference for this review must be approved by TEQSA's Director Re-registration and CRICOS Group. The terms of reference for the review must include, but is not limited to, an assessment of the effectiveness of the implementation of AGE's policies, procedures and practices in ensuring:
      • responsible recruitment of overseas students
      • its education agents act ethically, honestly and in the best interests of overseas students
      • adequate monitoring of academic progress and support for its overseas students
    2. By 30 January 2028 AGE must provide TEQSA evidence with the independent expert review report and evidence of AGE's consideration of the report, and evidence of any actions taken in response to the report, by its governing body.
