Remove ESOS registration condition

Report on removal of condition imposed on the CRICOS registration of Edvantage Institute Australia Pty Ltd (formerly Global Higher Education Australia Pty Ltd)

On 22 June 2023, TEQSA removed, under section 10B of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), a Condition imposed on the CRICOS registration of Edvantage Institute Australia Pty Ltd (formerly Global Higher Education Australia Pty Ltd).

Main reasons for the decision

On 25 September 2020, TEQSA imposed, under section 10B, a condition to limit the maximum number of overseas higher education students at the registered location for Edvantage Institute Australia. TEQSA has made the decision to remove this condition on the basis that it is satisfied that the condition has been met and is no longer necessary.

Provider Category Change

Report on provider category change for Sydney College of Divinity

On 1 June 2023, TEQSA made a decision, under section 38 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), to change the provider category of Sydney College of Divinity from Higher Education Provider to University College.

Main reasons for the decision

This decision was made on the basis that TEQSA is satisfied that Sydney College of Divinity meets the applicable category standards.

The decision to change provider category is a reviewable decision under section 183 of the TEQSA Act.

Remove ESOS registration condition

Report on removal of condition imposed on the CRICOS registration of Performing Arts Education Pty Ltd

On 4 July 2023, TEQSA removed, under section 10B of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), a Condition imposed on the CRICOS registration of Performing Arts Education Pty Ltd.

Main reasons for the decision

On 19 February 2021, TEQSA imposed, under section 10B, a condition to limit the maximum number of overseas higher education students at the registered location for Performing Arts Education Pty Ltd. TEQSA has made the decision to remove this condition on the basis that it is satisfied that the condition has been met and is no longer necessary.

Renewal of course accreditation

Report on renewal of accreditation of one higher education course of study offered by National Institute of Organisation Dynamics Australia Ltd

On 5 July 2023, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following course offered by National Institute of Organisation Dynamics Australia Ltd, until 17 March 2025 to align with the current period of registration.

• Master of Leadership and Management (Organisation Dynamics)

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the course submitted by National Institute of Organisation Dynamics Australia Ltd for renewal of accreditation continues to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.

On 07 July 2023 a delegate of TEQSA revoked, under section 53 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), Condition #1 imposed on the accreditation of the following courses offered by JMC Pty Limited (refer public report 28 June 2022):

• Graduate Certificate in Creative Industries
• Graduate Diploma of Creative Industries
• Master of Creative Industries

On 12 July 2023, TEQSA renewed, under section 10E of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), the CRICOS registration of The University of Adelaide for a period of seven years until 12 July 2030.

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that The University of Adelaide continues to meet the requirements of the ESOS Act and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training 2018 (National Code).

Renewal of CRICOS registration

Report on renewal of CRICOS registration of The University of Notre Dame Australia

On 14 July 2023, TEQSA renewed, under section 10E of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), the CRICOS registration of The University of Notre Dame Australia for a period of seven years until 14 July 2030.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that The University of Notre Dame Australia continues to meet the requirements of the ESOS Act and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training 2018 (National Code).
