On 10 May 2021 TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Australian Institute of Business Pty Ltd, until 2 April 2027:

• Master of Management
• Doctor of Business Administration
• Doctor of Philosophy.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by Australian Institute of Business Pty Ltd for renewal of accreditation continue to meet the Provider Course Accreditation Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015.

The end date for accreditation of the courses is 2 April 2027 which aligns with the provider registration end date.

Extension of registration period

Report on extension of registration of The University of Queensland

On 10 November 2021, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 37A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the registration of The University of Queensland from 17 March 2023 to 17 March 2025.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision in order to reduce the administrative burden of regulation for the provider in response to COVID-19 and its impact on the higher education sector. This decision is consistent with the principles set out in TEQSA's policy on extensions to the period of provider registration or course accreditation, including an assessment of risks associated with the extension.
