Report on renewal of accreditation of three higher education courses of study offered by the Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd

On 23 May 2018, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd, for a period of four years until 23 May 2022:

• Graduate Certificate in Business
• Master of Accounting (Formerly Master of Accounting (Standard))
• Master of Professional Accounting (Formerly Master of Professional Accounting (Standard)).

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made these decisions in light of risks that the courses submitted by Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd may not meet, or continue to meet, the following provisions of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2011:

1. Provider Course Accreditation Standard (PCAS) 5.5, in relation to benchmarking academic standards

TEQSA assessment considered the Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd arrangements for delivery at all Australian sites.

Report on revocation of conditions imposed on registration of Photography Holdings Pty Ltd

On 2 July 2018 TEQSA revoked, under section 32 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), Condition 1, Condition 2 and Condition 3 imposed on the registration of Photography Holdings Pty Ltd (refer public report of 22 June 2017).

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the conditions have been met.

Renewal of course accreditation

Report on renewal of accreditation of two higher education courses of study offered by International College of Management, Sydney Pty. Limited

On 28 June 2018, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by International College of Management, Sydney Pty. Limited, for a period of seven years until 28 June 2025:

• Master of Management
• Master of Management (Tourism and Hospitality).

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by International College of Management, Sydney Pty. Limited for renewal of accreditation continues to meet the Provider Course Accreditation Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2015.

TEQSA's assessment considered International College of Management, Sydney Pty. Limited's arrangements for delivery at all Australian sites.

Report on revocation of Condition One on Renewal of Registration of UOWC Ltd

On 27 October 2016 TEQSA revoked, under Section 32(2) of the TEQSA Act, Condition 1 imposed on the registration of UOWC Ltd (refer public report of 7 July 2016). The decision to revoke the conditions was made on the basis that TEQSA was satisfied that Condition One had been met.

Report on revocation of condition(s) of registration of Proteus Technologies Pty Ltd

On 20 August 2016 TEQSA revoked, under subsection 32(2) of the TEQSA Act, the conditions imposed on the registration of Proteus Technologies Pty Ltd (refer public report of 27 April 2016). The decision to revoke the conditions was made on the basis that TEQSA was satisfied that the conditions had been met.

A delegate of TEQSA has accredited, under section 49 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (the TEQSA Act), the following higher education courses of study offered by Alphacrucis College Pty Ltd for a period of seven years until 27 July 2022:

• Diploma of Arts
• Bachelor of Education (Primary) and
• Master of Teaching (Secondary)

Main reasons for decision

TEQSA has determined that the three higher education courses of study submitted by Alphacrucis College Pty Ltd for accreditation comply with the Provider Course Accreditation Standards and arrangements for delivery at all Australian sites.

Report on renewal of accreditation of one higher education course of study offered by Alphacrucis College Limited

TEQSA has determined, under Section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (the TEQSA Act), to renew accreditation of the following higher education course of study offered by Alphacrucis College Limited for a period of seven years until 8 August 2020:

• Bachelor of Ministry (formerly Bachelor of Contemporary Ministry)

Background to Decision

Alphacrucis College Limited submitted an application for renewal of accreditation of one course of study under Part 4 of the TEQSA Act. Subsection 45(4) of the TEQSA Act requires a registered higher education provider who is not authorised to self-accredit the course of study to apply to TEQSA for accreditation. Subsection 56(4) enables TEQSA to renew accreditation of a course of study for a period not exceeding seven years.

Main Reasons for the Decision

TEQSA has determined that the higher education course of study submitted by Alphacrucis College Limited for accreditation comply with the Provider Course Accreditation Standards. The course accreditation covers delivery at all Australian sites.

• Associate Degree in Ministry

Alphacrucis College Limited submitted an application for accreditation of five courses of study under Part 4 of the TEQSA Act.
