• renewed, under section 36 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the registration of Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education as an Institute of Higher Education, for a period of 7 years until 23 June 2033.
• revoked, under section 32 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act) Condition One imposed on the registration of Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education.

Condition One: Batchelor Institute's self-accrediting authority is limited to its current courses at Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) levels 8, 9 and 10, as currently focused on Indigenous knowledges.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education continues to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021 and that the condition is no longer necessary.
