Report on renewal of accreditation of three higher education courses of study offered by Technical and Further Education Commission
On 23 February 2024, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Technical and Further Education Commission, for a period of seven years until 23 February 2031:
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Cyber and Network Security)
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Data Engineering) (formerly BIT (Data Infrastructure Engineering))
- Diploma of Information Technology.
Main reasons for the decision
TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by Technical and Further Education Commission for renewal of accreditation continue to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
