On 21 December 2021, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Health Education and Training Institute:

• Graduate Diploma in Applied Mental Health Studies from 27 October 2023 to 27 October 2025
• Master of Applied Mental Health Studies from 27 October 2023 to 27 October 2025
• Graduate Certificate in Applied Mental Health Studies from 27 October 2023 to 27 October 2025
• Master of Psychiatric Medicine from 27 October 2023 to 27 October 2025
• Graduate Diploma in Psychiatric Medicine from 27 October 2023 to 27 October 2025
• Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric Medicine from 27 October 2023 to 27 October 2025.

Main reason for the decision

TEQSA made this decision in order to reduce the administrative burden of regulation for the provider in response to COVID-19 and its impact on the higher education sector. • Graduate Certificate in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Nursing
• Graduate Certificate in Digital Health.

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the courses submitted by the Australian College of Nursing for accreditation meets the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.
