A recipe for integrity on International Day of Action for Academic Integrity

Wednesday 21 October is International Day of Action for Academic Integrity and TEQSA has published a new academic integrity resource to encourage and support action.

To reflect this year’s theme, ‘Recipes for integrity: Sharing your signature dish’, we are sharing our key ingredients for quality academic integrity.

As with any recipe, a quality outcome needs quality ingredients. Assuring academic integrity is no different – key ingredients and ongoing focus come together over time, to deliver a culture of academic integrity supported by students and staff alike.

TEQSA continues to collaborate across the higher education sector to support providers in assuring academic integrity. Earlier this year we published updates to TEQSA’s Academic Integrity Toolkit, responding to new and emerging risks. The updated toolkit includes new sections on Assessment design and security and Risks to academic integrity from AI, and is free to access on our website.

International Day of Action for Academic Integrity is organised by the International Centre for Academic Integrity.
