Report on the variation of condition imposed on accreditation of one higher education course of study offered by National Institute of Organisation Dynamics Australia Ltd

On 2 March 2026 a delegate of TEQSA varied, under section 53 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), Condition 1 imposed on the accreditation of the following course offered by National Institute of Organisation Dynamics Australia Ltd (refer public report of 13 October 2023):

• Master of Leadership and Management (Organisation Dynamics)

Condition 1: (as varied)

By 21 April 2026, NIODA must provide, to the satisfaction of TEQSA, the following:

1. A copy of the independent and external review obtained by NIODA as required by NIODA's academic and review procedures and in compliance with Standard 6.1.3 paragraph d.
2. Evidence to demonstrate that NIODA's Academic Governing Board (AGB) and Governing Board (GB) have considered the recommendations of the independent external review, have an action plan with respect to adopted recommendations, have commenced steps from the action plan, and have a timetable for review of the effectiveness of steps from the action plan.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision to vary the reporting date only on the basis that the variation was a necessary update with regard to reporting requirements and capacities.

Report on accreditation of one higher education course of study offered by AIE Institute Limited

On 6 March 2026, a delegate of TEQSA accredited, under section 49 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the Undergraduate Certificate in Game Development offered by AIE Institute Limited, for a period of 7 years until 5 March 2033.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that the course submitted by AIE Institute Limited for accreditation meets the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.

Self-accrediting authority

Report on authority to self-accredit courses of study of Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd

On 18 February 2026, TEQSA authorised, under section 41 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd to self-accredit its courses of study up to and including AQF level 7 in the Broad Field of Education 02 Information Technology, and at all AQF levels up to and including AQF level 9 (coursework only) in the Broad Field of Education 08 Management and Commerce.

Due to this decision, the following courses previously accredited by TEQSA do not need to be re-accredited by TEQSA:

Main reasons for the decisions

TEQSA made these decisions on the basis that it was satisfied that Australian Institute of Business and Management Pty Ltd continues to meet the applicable Standards of the Higher Education Standards Framework (Threshold Standards) 2021.

Initial ESOS registration

Report on initial ESOS registration of the Nexus Institute of Higher Education Pty Ltd

On 11 March 2026, TEQSA:

• Approved, under section 10 of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), the registration of the Nexus Institute of Higher Education Pty Ltd (NIHE) on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) for a period of 5 years until 11 March 2031.
• Imposed, under section 10B of the ESOS Act, one condition on the ESOS registration of the Nexus Institute of Higher Education Pty Ltd.

Condition 1:

1. By 27 September 2027, NIHE must engage a suitably qualified independent expert to undertake a review of NIHE's first year of delivery to overseas students. The expert and terms of reference for this review must be approved by TEQSA. The review should assess the effectiveness of the implementation of NIHE's policies and procedures in ensuring:
   
   1. responsible recruitment of overseas students
   2. its education agents act ethically, honestly and in the best interests of overseas students
   3. adequate monitoring and support of overseas students.
2. By 27 January 2028, NIHE must provide TEQSA evidence of consideration of the review report, and any actions in response to the report, by its relevant governing bodies.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision in light of the risk that the NIHE may not comply, or continue to comply with, the following objectives of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018:

• recruit responsibly by ensuring students are appropriately qualified and sufficiently informed for their chosen course (Standard 2)
• ensure that its education agents act ethically, honestly and in the best interests of overseas students (Standard 4)
• assist overseas students adjust to study and life in Australia (Standard 6)
• safeguard the integrity of Australia's migration laws (Standard 8)
• appropriately manage overseas student enrolment, monitoring and reporting (Standard 9)

Application to withdraw decision

In accordance with section 10B(1)(b) of the ESOS Act, TEQSA may vary or remove a condition imposed on the registration of a registered provider at any time. TEQSA will consider any application by a provider for variation or revocation of a condition.

Extension of accreditation period

Report on extension of accreditation of 2 higher education courses of study offered by Governance Institute of Australia Ltd

On 12 March 2026, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Governance Institute of Australia from 24 October 2026 to 30 June 2027:

• Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management
• Graduate Certificate of Applied Corporate Governance and Risk Management

Main reasons for the decision
