Report on extension of accreditation of four higher education courses of study offered by ICHM Pty Ltd

On 1 June 2020, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by ICHM Pty Ltd:

• Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management from 9 January 2022 to 23 January 2023
• Diploma of Hospitality Management from 9 January 2022 to 23 January 2023
• Associate Degree in Hospitality Management from 4 December 2021 to 23 January 2023
• Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) from 4 December 2021 to 23 January 2023

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision in order to reduce regulatory burden for the provider in response to COVID-19 and its impact on the higher education sector. This decision is consistent with the principles set out in TEQSA's policy on extensions to the period of provider registration or course accreditation, including an assessment of risks associated with the extension.

Report on renewal of accreditation of four higher education courses of study in teach out mode offered by Box Hill Institute

On 5 August 2022, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 56 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses in teach out mode offered by Box Hill Institute, for a period of one year until 28 December 2023:

• Bachelor of Fashion
• Bachelor of Fashion Merchandising
• Associate Degree in Fashion
• Associate Degree in Fashion Merchandising.

No new enrolments are permitted in the above courses.

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it considers it appropriate to permit Box Hill Institute to teach out the above courses over a period of one year.
