Report on revocation of conditions imposed on registration of Victorian Institute of Technology Pty Ltd

On 18 January 2021 a delegate of TEQSA revoked, under section 32 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), Condition 4 imposed on the registration of Victorian Institute of Technology (refer public report of 29 June 2020).

On 19 January 2021 a delegate of TEQSA revoked, under section 32 of the TEQSA Act, Conditions 1 and 3 imposed on the registration of Victorian Institute of Technology (refer public report of 29 June 2020).

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made these decisions on the basis that it was satisfied that the conditions were no longer necessary.

Extensions of registration and accreditation periods

On 19 January 2021 a delegate of TEQSA extended:

• under section 37A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the registration of the Victorian Institute of Technology Pty Ltd in the category of Higher Education Provider by one year to 29 June 2025
• under section 57A of the TEQSA Act, the accreditation of the Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems by one year to 29 June 2025.
