Student wellbeing: prevention of sexual assault and sexual harassment

After the release of recent research, surveys and media reports revealing the issue of sexual assault and sexual harassment at Australian universities, TEQSA has moved to ensure that all higher education providers are fostering safe environments and supporting students in need.
Part of our role in the safeguarding of student wellbeing is the work we do with all higher education providers towards the improvement of their ability to prevent and respond to sexual assault and sexual harassment.
