On 30 June 2022, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Queensland Institute of Business and Technology:

• Diploma of Health Care from 11 July 2023 to 31 December 2025
• Diploma of Health Sciences from 13 July 2023 to 31 December 2025
• Diploma of Social and Psychological Science from 13 July 2023 to 31 December 2025
• Associate Degree in Commerce and Business from 31 July 2024 to 31 December 2025
• Diploma of Engineering from 31 July 2024 to 31 December 2025
• Diploma of Design from 27 October 2025 to 31 December 2025

Main reasons for the decision

On 30 June 2022, a delegate of TEQSA renewed, under section 55 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following course in teach out mode offered by Macleay College Pty Limited, for a period of one year to 20 July 2023:

• Diploma of Advertising and Media (formerly Diploma of Advertising)

No new enrolments are permitted in the above course.

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it considers it appropriate to permit Macleay College Pty Limited to teach out the above course over a period of two years.
