On 24 October 2023, TEQSA renewed, under section 10E of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), the CRICOS registration of Charles Sturt University for a period of seven years until 24 October 2030.

TEQSA made this decision on the basis that it was satisfied that Charles Sturt University continues to meet the requirements of the ESOS Act and the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training 2018 (National Code).
