Report on revocation of one condition of accreditation of three higher education courses of study offered by Acknowledge Education Pty Ltd (trading as Stott's Colleges)

On 28 April 2016 TEQSA revoked, under Section 53(2) of the TEQSA Act, one of the conditions imposed on the accreditation of the following courses offered by Acknowledge Education Pty Ltd (trading as Stott's Colleges):

• Bachelor of Business
• Bachelor of Business (Accounting)
• Bachelor of Business (Community Services Management)

The decision to revoke the condition was made on the basis that TEQSA was satisfied that Condition 5 had been met.

TEQSA has determined, under section 49 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (the TEQSA Act), to grant accreditation of the following higher education courses of study offered by Tabor College Victoria for a period of five years until 14 November 2018:

• Diploma in Theology
• Diploma in Arts
• Associate Degree in Arts

Background to Decision

Tabor College Victoria submitted an application for accreditation of three courses of study under Part 4 of the TEQSA Act. Subsection 45(4) of the TEQSA Act requires a registered higher education provider who is not authorised to self-accredit the course of study to apply to TEQSA for accreditation. Subsection 49(6) enables TEQSA to grant accreditation of a course of study for a period not exceeding seven years.
