Report on the variation of condition imposed on the CRICOS registration of Universal Higher Education Pty Ltd (UHE)

On 18 July 2025, TEQSA, under section 10B of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act), varied one condition on the CRICOS registration of Universal Higher Education Pty Ltd (UHE):

Condition 1: Overseas student enrolments (as varied)

The maximum number of overseas students that Universal Higher Education Pty Ltd may provide higher education courses to at Levels 1-4, 131 Queen Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 may not exceed 426 at any time.

Main reasons for the decision

TEQSA made this decision in light of the risks that Universal Higher Education Pty Ltd may not comply, or continue to comply, with the requirements of Standards 2 and 4 of the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018.
