Extension of accreditation period

Report on extension of accreditation of fourteen higher education courses of study offered by Technical and Further Education Commission

On 8 December 2022, a delegate of TEQSA extended, under section 57A of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act), the accreditation of the following courses offered by Technical and Further Education Commission:

• Undergraduate Certificate in Adult Education (CRS1400752) from 8 November 2023 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Foundations of Early Childhood Education (CRS1400872) from 8 November 2023 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Early Childhood Inclusive Practices (CRS1400841) from 8 November 2023 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Sustainable Practice (CRS1400753) from 22 December 2023 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Property Valuation (CRS1400832) from 23 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Commercial and Tax Law (CRS1400837) from 23 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Financial Accounting Theory and Audit (CRS1400838) from 23 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Business Management (CRS1400840) from 23 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Finance and Investment (CRS1400842) from 23 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Network Security (CRS1400873) from 24 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Network Engineering (CRS1400874) from 24 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Supporting Families and First Nations People and Communities (CRS1400876) from 29 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Working with Families at Risk (CRS1400877) from 29 March 2024 to 30 June 2025
• Undergraduate Certificate in Data Engineering (CRS1400836) from 29 May 2024 to 30 June 2025.

TEQSA made this decision consistent with the principles set out in TEQSA's policy on extensions to the period of provider registration or course accreditation, including an assessment of risks associated with the extension.
