Raffles College applies to withdraw registration
Raffles College Pty Ltd, has notified the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) of its intent to withdraw its registration as an Australian higher education provider.
In line with the requirements of the Higher Education Standards Framework, TEQSA will assess Raffles application including considering its strategies to mitigate any disadvantage to students and the most suitable date for this withdrawal to take effect.
TEQSA is working with Raffles to ensure the 80 students impacted by this decision are supported. Raffles is currently exploring opportunities for students to continue their study at another Australian higher education provider and, where applicable, refunded for any fees paid for future study.
Raffles is holding its second ‘all of student’ briefing session on Tuesday 27 November at 12:30pm for graduating students (expected to complete this year); and 1:00pm for non-completing students.
Students with questions regarding the closure of Raffles College of Design and Commerce or Raffles College of Design are encouraged to contact Student Services at (02) 9633 3800 or studentservices [at] raffles.edu.au.
TEQSA will continue to work with Raffles to ensure that students continue to be supported throughout this process.
