Provider Information Request now open
The 2021 Provider Information Request (PIR) is now open.
The PIR is a mandatory data collection process administered by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment on behalf of TEQSA, that ensures we have key information regarding all higher education providers. Access to this data helps inform our risk-based approach to regulation of the sector.
The submission period closes on 30 June 2021. However, all higher education providers are encouraged to submit and verify data earlier than the cut-off date where possible.
To ensure that student survey data is available for all providers, TEQSA continues to collect graduate survey data from providers that do not participate in the Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) program. There are also processes in place to ensure that providers who utilise third-party staff are able to accurately report this data.
The HEIMS Data Collections Team is the primary point of contact concerning the submission of data (heims.datacollections [at] dese.gov.au). The TEQSA Information Management Team (collections [at] teqsa.gov.au) is also available to respond to any queries in relation to reporting requirements.
