Good Practice Database
Note: The Good Practice Database has not been reviewed since May 2011.
The Good Practice Database was developed by the former Australian Universities Quality Agency, and is now in the process of being transferred to the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).
The Database is not intended to present ‘standards’ for the sector, nor will TEQSA audit a provider against entries in the Database.
The Good Practice Database is a collection of good practices from higher education providers. A ‘good practice’ is a system or activity that has been verified through a quality audit process as adding commendable value for the provider/agency and its stakeholders, and that may be beneficially transferable to other organisational settings.
The Database is intended to make information about good practices in the Australasian higher education sector publicly available, and that such information will serve as a general guide to the sector to assist it in its efforts to improve.
With the kind permission of the providers and agencies audited, these good practices are made publicly available via the Good Practice Database.
Through the Good Practice Database, you can:
- access detailed summaries of each good practice
- participate in the related discussion boards
- rate the usefulness of each good practice.
